The South West Creative Summit 2007
Creative Economy Summit...
...a first for the region and hugely important in endorsing South West England's reputation as a leader in the creative industries.
Organised by the South West RDA and the Creative Economy Partnership, the summit brought together 150 industry professionals from across the UK to discuss the opportunities and challenges confronting creative industry businesses and organisations at both national and regional levels. The afternoon was filled with interactive workshops focussing on - creative places, knowledge transfer, skills, new markets and future opportunities for digital media (the background papers for these sessions are available to download from this site).
Delegates entered into lively and informative discussions in each of the workshops and the sessions resulted in a number of commitments to future activity, from individuals and companies alike.

The region's reputation as a leader in creative industries is being further reinforced by a Creative Industries Campaign.
